Not sure which class is right? That’s exactly what we’re here for.

Tell us a little about your child below and one of our team will get in touch to learn more about them, answer your questions and recommend the class we believe will suit them best.

What we Do...

Maybe you’ve tried mainstream dance, sport or other activities before... instead of feeling welcomed, your child felt like they were on the outside looking in.

Maybe they were underestimated... maybe their behaviour was misunderstood.

Or maybe you spent the entire class worrying about whether they were coping, whether the teacher understood them, or whether you were going to get that phone call.

We understand why trying somewhere new can feel like a big decision.

At Perform Ability, inclusion isn’t an add-on to a mainstream program... it’s everything we do.

For 17 years, we’ve been creating performing arts opportunities where people with disabilities and neurodiversities can learn, express themselves, build confidence, make friends and experience the excitement of performing.

We Meet Your Child At Their Level

They don't need to arrive knowing how to dance and they don't need to behave a certain way.

They don't need to fit into somebody else's idea of what a performing arts student should look like.

We meet them where they are.

Our team takes the time to understand each person, their interests, confidence, communication, behaviour and support needs.

For some students, a group class is a great place to begin.

For others, we may recommend starting 1:1 before transitioning into a group.

The goal isn't to squeeze your child into a class. It's to find the environment where they have the best opportunity to thrive.

Inclusion Doesn't Mean Settling For Less

Parents sometimes worry that an inclusive program will mean lowering expectations.

We don't believe inclusion should mean settling for less.

Your child isn't here to be babysat... they're here to participate...

• To learn.
• To develop skills.
• To build confidence.
• To connect with others.

And, where appropriate, to experience genuine opportunities to perform and show what they can do.

Every person's version of progress may look different — and that's exactly the point.

A Place to Be Seen For Who They Are

Imagine finding an activity where you don't have to spend the first ten minutes explaining everything your child struggles with.

Where you don't feel like you're waiting for someone to tell you they're "too difficult."

Where your child can walk through the door and be welcomed as they are.

That's the environment we've worked to create at PerformAbility.

Whether your child is confident and outgoing, shy and hesitant, completely new to performing arts, or needs additional support to participate, we'll help you understand what options may suit them.

Not Sure Which Class to Choose? Don't Guess.

You don't need to scroll through timetables trying to work it out yourself.
